Grounds for Treason is a satirical coffee and culture publication. Its commentary may include parody, exaggeration, criticism, and opinion. What is satire here
The voice, the personas, the intelligence-dossier framing, and the running jokes about operator language and unexplained explosions are all invention. Headlines are written to land, not to summarise neutrally. Pieces labelled Satire exaggerate for effect and should not be read as reporting.
What is not satire
Statements of fact about real companies are real. Prices, ingredients, roast dates, advertising copy, product specifications, and public statements are checked and sourced. Test results are actual test results. A joke around a fact does not make the fact a joke.
Pen names
Writers publish under editorial aliases. Those personas are openly fictional and are identified as pen names on every author page. No pen name carries an invented military record, employer, qualification, or personal history.
